Three Graces

Life happens and God is good.  I took a “life mold” of my wife the day before she gave birth to our daughter.  She was very pregnant and a great sport.  I laid cold plaster and gauze across her torso to capture her radiant beauty.

This type of mold was used to recreate her form in three versions of cast aluminum.  Each has subtle nuances about it and an effective mix of detail and organic texture created by the gauze in the original steps of the process.  There are three of these in honor of my wife’s delivery of our three children; not to mention, they look great in multiples.  The aluminum is lightweight and easily mounted to common surfaces.
