The sculpture The Measure of A Man owes its design and existence to the oft repeated phrase and sometimes question of the same. Social pressures, traditions, norms, taboos and various other social choreographies besiege contemporary man.
Each person, man or woman, believes, develops, inherits or otherwise fumbles their way into a personal world view: a scaffolding of morals, ethics, core values and/or faith in a higher power.
